You've heard some buzz in the lacrosse world about the drop of the Nike Huarache 4 LX cleats on the NIKEiD website, which is the one-stop shop for all-out customization of a long list of the best products Nike has to offer.

We took our sweet time late last week to really explore the studio space, dialing up a number of awesome looks at the new Huarache 4 LX, which premiered on IL back during the 2013 NCAA tournament when Duke, Syracuse and Cornell broke out their own custom versions of the newest Huarache.

Below is a look at a bunch of customized Huarache 4s, with several high schools, colleges, pro teams and international squads in mind as we attempted to come up with as many eye-popping concepts as we could.

In case you need a refresher on what this incredible cleat has to offer, here are details from Nike:

Engineered to the exacting specifications of elite-level lacrosse athletes, the Nike Huarache 4 Men’s Lacrosse cleat is built for explosive speed. An ultra-light upper combining synthetic leather and dynamic Nike Flywire technology delivers optimal midfoot support, ensuring the foot is locked down for quick lateral cuts. Similarly, the innovative sidewall shovel cleats enable seamless movement in all directions — a requirement for top-flight competition. A perfect mix of mid-foot cushioning and support from a ¾-length Phylon midsole paired with a low-profile forefoot provides an ultra-responsive ride.

Think you can come up with some great custom designs? Take a look at what we've created below, which were created just for fun (the list of teams/programs are not necessarily affiliated with Nike). We encourage you to share yours with us on Twitter (@IL_Gear) and with Nike Lacrosse (@nikelacrosse). We're fired up to see what people in lacrosse can create with this handy customization tool.

, and learn more about the cleat here on IL and on Nike.com. Get caught up on the latest from Nike Lacrosse in our archives.

If there's one set of team colors I can't get enough of, it's the Rochester Knighthawks. Any team with these colors should feel lucky, though we're not too sure there are many out there rocking the teal and purple. This design utilizes the Huarache's D-style plate, which offers traction on wet and soggy conditions on grass surfaces.

More KHawks, utilizing the Chroma upper.

More KHawks. Love this one.

NIKEiD allows you to customize the inner tongue of the cleat, which you can see here.

Oh, this is fun. Just imagine the possibilities for the Iroquois Nationals cleats for next summer at the FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Denver. Here's one of a few looks I'm drooling over.
